Must know: The heavy lifting construction meant for the three-way adjoining SkyPark is nearly complete. The buildings will house restaurants, a 150-meter swimming pool and a public observation deck. The Marina Bay Sands was slated for opening late 2009 but due to a lack of resources, the project is still ongoing.

Must do: The National Museum of Singapore will play host to the highly anticipated Quest for Immortality: The World of Ancient Egypt exhibition from today to April 4, 2010. It will feature over 230 Egyptian artifacts, showcasing the funerary customs, fashion and even craftworks of the ancient Egyptians from 4500 BCE to 1st century BCE.

Must know: The unexpected closure of Horizon Food Court in Causeway will see tenants losing thousands of dollars during this festive period. The tenants have received their paychecks but are still anxiously waiting to see if they process. Steven Ong, a tenant, said, “I feel a bit happy, but not totally, as I need to see if the cheque goes through or not. We have received a call from the other tenants saying that they have already received their cheques."
